As part of Storytel’s international expansion, Storytel is launching its audiobook service for the Polish language market. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Storytel sp.zo.o, agreements with leading Polish publishers have been signed, and local content is being produced by Storytel. In conjunction with the launch, the Polish-speaking readers are also offered thousands of English-language audiobook titles.
“Poland, with its population of more than 40 million, is a major book market and the country has long literary traditions,” says Jonas Tellander, CEO of Storytel Sweden AB (publ). “We believe that our service will be appreciated as much in Poland as in our current markets.”
